Halloween, But Make It Fashion

Fashion Blogger

October is here and we all know what that means, Halloween is just around the corner! Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year and I just love everything about it! I’m really into horror movies and ghosts stories so the spooky season is right up my ally. It’s also a great excuse for decorating, lighting all the candles and getting cosy with all your favourite snacks, trick or treat anyone?

Having Halloween at the start of autumn also helps bring my fashion straight out of summer and into the depths of the autumnal season with darker colours, thicker fabrics and chunky boots.

I love to incorporate Halloween into my fashion during October and at least in the week leading up to Halloween, even if it’s just a nod to the holiday. A great way to do this is to wear orange, such as a thick chunky orange knit, or fishnet tights nodding to a more witchy vibe. There’s lots of orange around at the moment, both in-store and online which makes me really happy as I generally don’t think orange suits me, but Halloween is the perfect reason to wear it anyway! Some of the best orange knits are in H&M and on ASOS.

The easiest and simplest way to include a Haloweeny feel to your look is with a slogan/printed tee or jumper.

The best thing about this is you don’t even have to go full on Halloween and restrict these pieces to the one time of year and you can have such a subtle print. I’ve found so many this year that I love in Nasty Gal, Topshop and on ASOS.
