Collagen seems to be everywhere at the moment. It’s one of those supplements that actually makes a difference, especially if you’re looking to support your skin, hair, nails, and joints. I started adding it into my routine years ago and I try to have it every day, whether it’s stirred into my morning matcha, mixed into a smoothie, or even added to a hot meal. It’s such an easy thing to include, and over time I do think I’ve noticed the benefits.
Why collagen is good for you
Collagen is a protein that your body naturally produces, but as we get older, that production slows down. It’s basically the thing that keeps your skin firm, plump, and smooth, and when levels start to drop, that’s when fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging can start to appear. Taking collagen can help to support your skin from within, while also helping with things like hair strength, nail growth, and even joint health.
I also find that it’s a nice addition to my overall wellness routine because it feels like I’m doing something simple but effective for my body every day.
The collagen powders I’ve tried
Over the last few years, I’ve tried a tones of different brands to see what works best for me. I don’t think I could count or remember every brand I’ve tried, and sometimes I go to try something new and Amazon tells me I bought this product a year ago which is always a surprise haha!
As you can tell, I’m not particularly loyal to any brand specifically, just getting enough collagen is my mission, but these are the few that I have tried and noted down when I did.
Nutravita Collagen Powder
This one was one of the first I tried, and I really liked how easy it was to mix into drinks. It didn’t have a strong taste, which made it great for adding to coffee or hot chocolate without noticing it too much.

Dose & Co Collagen Protein Powder
I tried this one after seeing it everywhere online. It has a slightly creamier texture and feels more like a protein powder, so I liked using it in smoothies and overnight oats. The packaging is also really nice, which always helps.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder
Probably one of the most popular collagen powders out there. It dissolves really well and feels like one of the more premium options. I’ve gone back to this a few times because I know it works for me and I do notice a difference in my skin when I use it regularly.

Revive Multi Collagen Protein Powder
I picked this one up more recently and liked that it included different types of collagen, not just one source. It felt like a good all-rounder and mixed in well with both hot and cold drinks.

Collagen has definitely become one of my everyday supplements I don’t really want to go without now. I’ve noticed my skin feels a bit firmer, my nails are stronger, and my hair grows faster when I’m consistent with it. I think the key is just making it part of your daily routine so you don’t forget about it.
If you’ve been thinking about trying collagen, I’d definitely recommend experimenting with a few different brands to find one that fits your lifestyle and taste. It’s such an easy addition to your day that can really make a difference over time.
