Dry Hand Saviours

Dry Hand Saviours

Dry hands are annoying at the best of times, but with an increase in using hand sanitiser and constant hand washing, it’s become essential to keep your hands hydrated. I tend to moisturise my hands a few times a day anyway, but I’ve really noticed that even with my normal moisturising routine, my hands have struggled.

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Shea Butter Hand Cream

One of my favourite dry hand saviours is the Garnier Intensive 7 Days Shea Butter Hand Cream. I use the body cream version every time I shower and absolutely love it. It’s one of the best body creams I’ve used and I can tell instantly the difference when I switch to something else or I stop using it for a few weeks. I tried the hand cream a couple of months ago and now use it daily. It’s thick and nourishing without being too greasy, so you can go about your daily activities without leaving greasy marks on everything.

The best thing about the Garnier Intensive 7 Days Shea Butter Hand Cream is that it’s super easy to get a hold of and is affordable for everyone. It’s only a few pounds and you can pick it up in the supermarket when you do your food shop, or in Boots if you’re stocking up on beauty products.

Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment Cream

My mum has used this hand cream for years and she’s the one who introduced me to this. It’s a beautiful creamy consistency and has a distinctive but soft scent that I absolutely love. This is a bit of a step up from the Garnier Intensive 7 Days Shea Butter Hand Cream in terms of price point, but to be honest, it lasts a long time and you don’t need a lot as a little goes a long way, so a tube will last you a long time. I love that the tube is quite big, but is still small enough to chuck in your handbag and take out with you, especially at the moment when I want my hand cream with me everywhere I go!

Again, you can pick this up from Boots so it’s not difficult to get hold of at all, but mostly I just order this online. Back before 2020, I would typically purchase at the airport when I go on holiday as they always have great sizes and of course a bit of a discount which is always a bonus!

Jo Malone London Blackberry and Bay Body and Hand Lotion

If you like investing in luxury products and skincare, I can highly recommend the Jo Malone London Blackberry and Bay Body and Hand Lotion. It’s extremely luxurious and smells incredible. I probably buy this once a year or so as a treat and even though it’s on the more expensive side when it comes to hand cream, it’s lovely to use and lasts a really long time so it’s 100% worth the money. Whenever I get to the end of the tube I can’t believe how long it’s lasted and for this reason I would repurchase again and again. It’s also a great little treat to brighten your day, and who doesn’t love a swanky product sitting on their desk or in the bathroom!
