Elemis Peptide4 From Pure Beauty

Elemis Peptide4 From Pure Beauty

**The products mentioned in this post were kindly gifted by Pure Beauty, but as always are only discussed if I genuinely love them!**

As much as I love shopping in-store, day to day life and being super busy means that shopping online is my go-to. I love buying skincare, beauty, makeup – the lot! I’ve tried more than my fair share of skincare and beauty products over the years, and I have a keen interest in how products work, the ingredients, and what they do for your skin.

Typically I like to spend quite a lot on my skincare. This is not something I’ve always done, but as I’ve learnt more about ingredients and seen improvements in my skin when I use better quality products, I made the decision that I would invest in quality over quantity.

I have a handful of brands that I swear by, and re-order again and again. One brand that I love is Elemis, and I’ve recently tried a range of theirs that I hadn’t before, and this is the Peptide4 range.

I got these products via Pure Beauty, a store I hadn’t heard of before, but who are passionate about great skincare.

Pure Beauty was set up in March 2004 by a highly respected Beauty Therapist that had worked locally for 10 years at a prestigious salon in Lichfield. The focus is on key treatments that deliver tangible results using the best professional and retail product range available – everything you could want when choosing your skincare.
Having firmly established a leading position in the local market place, Pure Beauty have decided to expand their range online so it’s accessible to everyone.

Decleor, Dermalogica and Elemis are just a few of the brands they stock and as much as I like to shop larger companies, I will try to shop smaller or more local if I can so Pure Beauty is a great alternative to other online stores if you are looking to try the Peptide4 range, or you’re wanting to invest in some new skincare.

The products I tried were the Elemis Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream, Elemis Peptide4 Overnight Radiance Peel and the Elemis Peptide4 Plumping Pillow Facial.

Elemis Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream

We all know I love a good eye cream. I’ve been blown away by eye creams in the past, and also really let down, so I was keen to get my hands on this product to see what it could offer. I was not let down, that’s for sure!

I tend to notice fine lines around my eyes, and I also like to wear a higher coverage concealer so having plump, moisturised skin around my eyes is key for me as I do not want to see any caking or setting into any lines here!
This cream helps my eyes stay hydrated, and helps to plump and brighten the area at the same time. It takes a lot for an eye cream to impress me, but this one did just that.

Elemis Peptide4 Overnight Radiance Peel

My nighttime routine is really important to me, and I like to use products that you can’t use during the day, like stronger acids and retinoids. The idea of the Overnight Radiance Peel is that it helps to brighten, refine and replenish the skin. It exfoliates with acid and creates a radiant, flawless-looking complexion – who doesn’t want that?

The peel is a blend of skin-smoothing acids with AHAs and botanical oils and promises to make your skin bright and hydrated by the morning. I could really tell that my skin loved this product, and it’s a great way to give your skin a good exfoliation without scrubbing or damaging the skin’s surface.

If you have dull skin, or you just need to add a little brightness to your face, this is a great product and all you need to do is pop it on in the evening and enjoy a brighter complexion the following morning!

Elemis Peptide4 Plumping Pillow Facial

This product has been referred to as an all-in-one ‘facial in a jar’ that works overnight when skin is most receptive to repair – this sounds like the easiest facial ever!

The Plumping Pillow Facial helps to restore radiance to tired skin and even delivers a cooling effect when your body’s temperature rises during sleep, preventing moisture loss. I don’t know about you, but I need a thicker and more intense moisturiser overnight, as my skin can become quite tight otherwise, and the last thing you want is to wake up to dry, tight skin.

I use this after my normal night-time skincare to hold it all in and help my skin stay hydrated and nourished. When I wake up, my skin is exactly that, and after doing my morning skincare routine, my face is naturally plump, hydrated and glowing.

Let me know if you’ve tried these products or any other from the range, and if you’ve purchased from Pure Beauty!
