Here are ten ways I love to shift that energy and bring myself back to a calm, balanced place.


1. Start With A Clean Space

Your surroundings can have a huge impact on your mood. If your home feels cluttered or chaotic, it’s hard to feel calm within it. Start small; tidy a surface, open the windows, and let in some fresh air. Clearing your space can instantly shift the energy and help you breathe a little easier.


2. Sage Or Cleanse Your Home

Saging your home, or using cleansing sprays made with essential oils, is a lovely way to remove stagnant or negative energy. Move slowly through each room, paying attention to corners and areas that feel heavy. As you do, set the intention of clearing old energy and welcoming peace, clarity, and light.


3. Spend Time In Nature

There’s nothing like fresh air to help you reset. Go for a walk, sit by the water, or just stand outside for a few minutes. Nature has a way of grounding us and reminding us that everything passes. You’ll often come back feeling clearer, lighter, and more connected.


4. Practice Yoga

Yoga is one of the best ways to release tension from your body and mind. Even ten minutes can help shift your energy. Focus on deep breathing and slow movements that help you feel present in your body.
