My Current Everyday Make Up Products

Make Up

As much as I like a makeup free day once or twice a week, I also like to feel fully put together on days where I need to feel productive and ready for the day, so makeup is a big part of my morning routine most days.

Over the years I’ve found myself sticking to mostly the same products, and they’ve become my go-tos. Because I use them so often, I can genuinely recommend each one.

Base and Concealer

For foundation, I always reach for Estee Lauder Double Wear. It gives great coverage without feeling heavy, and it lasts all day even if I’m rushing around. To cover any spots or brighten under my eyes, I use Collection concealer. It’s simple, easy to blend, and does exactly what I need without fuss – both are very long term favourites for me (you will have heard and possibly tried both of these because they’ve been cult favourites for many years at this point).

Contour and Blush

I like to add some dimension to my face, and Charlotte Tilbury contour is perfect for that. It’s subtle but really helps define my cheekbones. For blush, I stick with MAC Peaches. It’s such a classic shade that works with almost any look and gives a soft, healthy glow.

Brows

I can’t skip my brows, and Anastasia Brow Whiz is my absolute favourite. It’s precise and easy to use, and it fills in my brows naturally without looking harsh. Having brows done properly really frames the whole face and makes the rest of my make up feel complete.

Bronzer and Mascara

I love my Gucci bronzer. I use it to warm up my face, and I also often sweep it over my eyelids as an eyeshadow for an easy, cohesive look. For lashes, I can’t get enough of Gucci mascara. It separates, lengthens, and adds volume without clumping, which is exactly what I want for an everyday look. Eyelash curlers are a must too, and I’ve been using Tweezerman for years. They’re reliable and make a big difference before mascara. I’ve never really had amazing natural lashes, so curling them is essential for me.

Brushes

I use Real Techniques brushes for pretty much everything, and they are really the only brushes I’ve ever used as I don’t think any other brands are anywhere near as good. They’re soft, durable, and make applying make up so much easier.

Final Thoughts

These are the products I come back to time and time again. They help me create a look that’s both natural and put together, and because I know them so well, I can apply them quickly without overthinking it. If you’re looking to build a reliable everyday make up collection, these are the items I’d recommend starting with.
