I’ve been a bit obsessed with Human Design lately. I’ve always loved astrology, tarot and anything spiritual or guiding since I can remember.
I’ve had astrology readings, I’ve looked into my astrocartography (which is amazing if you haven’t done it), but something I’ve always wanted to understand more is my Human Design.
What Is Human Design?
From what I’ve learnt, Human Design is a mix of astrology, the chakra system, the I Ching and quantum physics. It’s basically a blueprint of how your energy works, how you’re designed to make decisions, interact with others, and move through life in a way that feels natural to you.
It’s all based on your birth date, time and place, just like astrology, but it goes deeper into the way you’re actually designed to live and therefore, how to thrive.
Once you know your chart, it can help you understand why you are the way you are , what your strengths are, what can be challenging for you, and how you can work with your energy instead of against it.
I love stuff like this, especially when it resonates and makes sense, and reinforces that everything is as it should be, and I even sometimes think that it shows how out of control we are of how we are and what is happening to us, which for me, is weirdly reassuring.
Discovering I’m a Self Projected Projector
When I found out that I’m a Self Projected Projector, it actually changed everything for me. It made SO much sense of how I’ve always felt and operated.
Projectors aren’t here to constantly push or keep up with everyone else’s pace, we’re here to guide, see things clearly, and then share this insight. Being self projected means my voice and words are how I find clarity and truth, and for me is also how I think I actually process information, which is wild, but also explains so much about why talking things through always feels so right for me (and why I seem to be the only person having full blown conversations with myself constantly haha).
Learning this has helped me understand my energy, and why certain things drain me, while others light me up. It’s been such a nice feeling realising that the way I am actually makes perfect sense.
The tools my coach suggested were mainly to work one to one with my clients, which is great because I work like this anyway, and to make use of voice noting myself. Where some people can sit in silence, or journal to make sense of things and manage their thoughts, I need to speak. So, she recommended walking and voice noting myself so that I’ve spoken the words, and by speaking and hearing myself, I can process and move on.
If you’ve never looked into your Human Design before, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s not only fun to explore, but it can genuinely help you understand yourself on such a deep level.
Whether you’re into all things spiritual or just curious about self-discovery, it’s such a powerful tool. For me, it’s brought so much clarity and validation – and I honestly think everyone should know theirs (and then DM me so we can talk about it haha)!
