Four Fab Face Masks

Favourite Face Masks

If there’s anything I love in skincare it’s a good face mask. I spend a significant part of my week wearing face masks and to be honest, if it was acceptable to wear them out and about to gain maximum benefit, I absolutely would.
I’ve tried so many different masks over the years and have a pretty good idea of what I like and don’t like and what will be too harsh/too fragranced etc for my skin.

Here are my four favourite face masks.

Mask Of Magnaminty from Lush is one of my all time favourite masks of all time. I have used this mask for about 7 years and it is a total winner for me.
It smells AMAZING (I have to stop myself from eating it every time I use it), it makes your skin feel tingly and fresh while wearing it and completely smooth and clean after washing off. It’s an all rounder for clearing up blemishes and exfoliating and can be used on your body as well as your face – perfect!

I’m obsessed with this bubble sheet mask. I picked one up at Stylist Live last year and since then can’t get enough! You can feel the mask bubbling away on your face which is a strange sensation, plus you do end up looking like you’ve dunked your face into a bubble bath, but aside from the bubble attack the sensation and the results are great! My skin feels really clean and soft afterwards.

If I’m looking for a mask to grab while I’m in town or something just a little more affordable I gravitate towards L’Oreal masks. I’ve tried a few, but the Pure Clay Glow Mask and the Pure Clay Blemish Masks are the best for my skin. Despite being a more cost effective face mask, they last a long time and spread easily across your skin, meaning a little goes a long way.

If I’m wanting to super charge my skin with moisture I know which mask I will be reaching for and that is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – of course! This mask is amazing; it smells amazing, feels amazing, and when you wake up you look amazing too.
The mask is like a thick moisturiser and you can either tissue off any excess, or leave on overnight depending on how dry your skin is. I do use this as a mask most of the time, but occasionally I use a small amount as an everyday facial moisturiser as it feels and smells so good! Being in a tube, this mask is so handy for travelling and storing as well as being great for hygiene (no fingers dipping in and out of pots).
