You know I love hot chocolate all year round, so when it gets to December I have an excuse to have even more hot chocolate than normal and I’m soooo happy about that!
If you also love hot chocolate, then I highly recommend you try this recipe! These ingredients should make two cups, so grab two mugs for you and a friend, or a big mug just for yourself!
400ml Vegan Milk (I use almond milk)
12g unsweetened cocoa powder
40g grated dairy-free chocolate
1 maple syrup (if you want to add this – I don’t always add this as I don’t always want it to be too sweet)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Vegan chocolate shavings
Hundreds & Thousands
Add all of the ingredients into a blender or velvetiser and mix until smooth. Once combined, pour into a saucepan and heat for around 5 minutes on a low heat while whisking, until smooth and thick.
Pour into your mugs and top with vegan cream, marshmallows, chocolate shavings and you could even add sprinkles and a mini candy cane to make it super festive!
